By downloading or using the "My Cozy Plant" app, these terms will automatically apply to you. You should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the app.
2. User Accounts
To access certain features (such as saving plants), you are required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Use Licence
Permission is granted to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You are not allowed to copy, modify, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, nor should you try to translate the app into other languages or make derivative versions.
4. Weather Data & Accuracy
My Cozy Plant provides frost alerts based on third-party weather forecasting data provided by Open-Meteo. While we strive for accuracy, weather prediction is inherently uncertain.
Disclaimer: We are not responsible for any damage to plants, crops, or property resulting from frost or weather events, even if the app failed to predict them. The app is a tool to assist you, but final gardening decisions are yours.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
The "Pro" plan is an optional paid subscription. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store or Play Store account settings after purchase.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms (e.g., attempting to abuse our API or servers).
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
